Uncaria (Gou Teng)

Uncaria rhyncophylla / Ramulus uncariae

A food supplement to support your health sometimes known as Chinese Cat's Claw or Gou Teng. 

Extracts such as tinctures or essences offer a convenient alternative to herbal teas. They may also be used in food, food supplements, cosmetics and as a starter ingredient by herbalists in prescription formulas.

Ingredients

Uncaria rhyncophylla / Ramulus uncariae extracted in beet ethanol (alcohol). The part used is the aerial parts. The strength is 1:3 45%. This product is gluten free and does not contain GMO material. Store in a cool dark place.

Directions

Adults: Stated serving size 1.2 ml (20-30 drops) taken 2 to 3 times a day, unless otherwise told by a qualified herbal medicine practitioner. This amount may be added to cold or warm water, juice or another drink.

Cautions

Only use this tincture under the advice of a medical or herbal medicine practitioner.

Contraindications

Do not use if you are pregnant or if you are planning to become pregnant without your doctor's approval. Not all herbs are suitable in breastfeeding or for young children, or if you are unwell, have health concerns or an ongoing illness.
