A tasty tea to help us ladies of menopause age to keep cool, calm and collected on even the most of fraught days, when our patience and normally saintly natures are sorely tested!
Put two teaspoons of the blend in a large teapot of boiling water. Allow to steep for 5-10 minutes. Add a little honey or even some fresh lemon slices. Strain and serve. Drink while cool and lukewarm, as you wouldn't want to get hot now would you?!
Contains Rosa spp. (rose petals), Trifolium pratense (Red Clover), Scutellaria lateriflora (Skullcap), Turnera diffusa (damiana), Salvia officinalis (Sage), Vitex agnus-castus berries and Citrus sinensis (orange). 100 grams.
It is normal for there to be a slight variation in the herbs from one batch to another. The colour and the taste can vary a little from harvest to harvest.
Many teas are sold in teabags these days. Our Napiers herbal teas are not and there are good reasons why not. A teabag only contains around 2 or 3 grams of very dry, finely chopped or powdered herbs. We believe that not chopping herbs into tiny pieces, which dries out their natural oils, helps to preserve their beneficial goodness.
We also like to vary the strength of our teas. We all come in different shapes, states or sizes, and so does our taste and need for a good cup of tea!
It’s very easy to use loose tea and doesn’t have to involve chopping down a tree to make the paper for a tea bag! Use a tea strainer or tea ball.
Compost loves loose too!
