Detoxifying Kelp Super Smoothie


Are you ready to shed some of that winter weight? Alginate, a material found in sea kelp, has been proven to prevent fat absorption more than most over-the-counter treatments. Try replacing your breakfast with this detoxifying kelp smoothie.


20 g granulated kelp
150 g blueberries
120 ml coconut milk
10 ml honey
5 ml lime juice


Put all your ingredients into a blender and blend until smooth. Enjoy!

Seaweed contains iodine, a vital mineral necessary for optimum thyroid health. Everybody needs at least half a gram a day to stay healthy. (If you have Hashimoto's disease you may be sensitive to iodine and should avoid seaweed.)
