Bidens TINCTURE

Bidens pilosa

A food supplement to support your health sometimes known as black-jacks or Spanish needles. 

Extracts such as tinctures or essences offer a convenient alternative to herbal teas. They may also be used in food, food supplements, cosmetics and as a starter ingredient by herbalists in prescription formulas.

Please note the different strengths of the tinctures on offer and select the correct one for you.

Ingredients

Bidens pilosa extracted in sugar beet ethanol (alcohol). The part used is the dried leaf. The strength is 1:5 25%. Suggested serving size of up to 2 to 4 ml. 

Directions

Adults: Take up to 2 to 4ml, 2 to 3 times a day unless otherwise directed by your practitioner.

Cautions

Only use this tincture under the advice of a medical or herbal medicine practitioner.

Contraindications

Caution in use by those with diabetes or using diabetic medications as taking Bidens may alter your blood glucose and insulin levels. People allergic to members of the aster family, such as ragweed, may also be allergic to Bidens.

Do not use if you are pregnant or if you are planning to become pregnant without your doctor's approval. Not all herbs are suitable in breastfeeding or for young children, or if you are unwell, have health concerns or an ongoing illness.
